Act Now! Don't Forget to purchase your tickets for "Blast from the Past!"

"A Blast from the Past!" at 'The Sixties Show' is just around the corner on October 15th at 5:00PM at the Nashua Center for the Arts, and you won't want to miss it!

This event, hosted by the Brian S. McCarthy Memorial Foundation, is not just about nostalgia and entertainment. It's about making a real difference in STEM Education in our beloved Nashua community. Tickets include admission to our private event on the Third Floor at 5:00PM with heavy hors d'oeuvres by Celebrations Catering, cash bar, raffles, live STEM Demonstrations, and seats to "The Sixties Show," at 7:00PM.

Here's why you should act fast:

Limited Tickets: Due to overwhelming interest, our tickets are disappearing rapidly. This is a very popular show, which features features current and former band members of the Who and of John Fogerty from Creedence Clearwater Revival. We've had an incredible response from the community, and this means that time is running out for you to secure your spot. Be sure to purchase your tickets by September 30th! The Brian S. McCarthy Memorial Foundation has already achieved so much. In 2023 alone, we've awarded $20,000 in scholarships to graduating Nashua students. Since 2019, we've provided $55,800 in scholarships, grants, and donations. With 653 students impacted, 14 scholarships awarded, and 28 projects funded, our impact speaks volumes.

Joining us will be two special guests providing demonstrations! Last year, the Foundation sponsored Xploration ALC's new program, "Plasma Science!" Xploration provides in class hands on STEM learning experiences and demonstrations. Through the Plasma Science demonstration, guests will see positively charged electrons make objects fly, positively charge your hair, make lights turn on without using batteries, create sparks, and so much more!

We'll also be joined by students and mentors from Nashua's FIRST robotics team, the Nashua Tough Techs to demonstrate their robot! The Nashua FIRST robotics team was founded in 1991. FIRST is a program for promoting STEM learning in school aged children. Tough Techs 151 is a student led team and their competition robot is designed and built by students with mentors acting in an advisory role. The Foundation provided a community grant to the Tough Techs last year.

By attending "A Blast From the Past!" at The Sixties Show, you're not just attending an event; you're shaping the future of STEM Education in Nashua. Your contribution matters, and it will help us continue our mission to improve STEM Education across the Nashua community. Tickets are available through the Box Office at Nashua Center for the Arts at www.NashuaCenterForTheArts.com (It will specifically mention the McCarthy Foundation in the ticket name). Be sure to get your tickets by September 30th! Buy Your Tickets Now! Hurry, because these tickets won't last!
