Family STEM Day, 2025

To celebrate Five years of giving back to the Community, the Brian S. McCarthy Memorial Foundation held its inaugural Family STEM Day on May 17, 2025 at World Academy in Nashua, NH. Students and Parents alike came together to learn about Astronomy, HAM Radio, Aviation, Sea Creatures, Engineering, Electricity, Fire Science, and more through interactive hands-on exhibits, demonstrations, and creative ways to engage in STEM learning. With over 23 organizations participating with 40 demonstrations, the event saw nearly 1,000 participants in attendance! A Blast from the Past! at The Sixties Show, 2023

After 3 years away, we held our first in person fundraiser since 2019 on October 15, 2023 at the Nashua Center for the Arts! Guests experienced STEM Demonstrations from Xploration ALC and the Tough Techs 151, enjoyed refreshments from Celebrations Catering, custom craft cosmic cocktails, won raffle prizes, and guessed how many truffles were in the jar (and the winner got to take home 123 truffles courtesy of Lindt Chocolates! Afterwards, attendees traveled back in time at "The Sixties Show!" This two hour performance included 1960s Music ranging from the British Invasion, Motown, Folk, and Pop and a Multi-Media Spectacle to enhance the performance. The Bounty Lounge, 2019

Our first fundraising event was held on October 5, 2019 at The Bounty Lounge in Nashua, NH. It was a great night of music, food and drink, prizes, games and trivia, and gathering together to celebrate. There was a little something for everyone.
